Big time off plan - kfc, popeyes, taco bell, mcdonalds, LOTS of pasta, a whole loaf of garlic bread, lots and lots of bags of chips and candy and 2 liter bottles of soda... (ok, i'm done confessing...)
I've been doing very little besides allowing myself to meld to the couch -I noticed that my thighs felt like they were really pushing to stand up. I feel *weak*.
after all of that - i tried to drink some plain water and eat some oatmeal. I noticed that my mouth HURT. water and oatmeal that tasted great 2 weeks ago were gross! My tongue ached. I was having *obsessive* cravings - it took everything in me not to go to popeyes first thing this morning.
So... wow. 1 and a half weeks of eating like I used to - my legs feel markedly weaker. I am sleepy all the time for no reason. My face feels puffy. I had to take off my rings. I am craving foods like nobodys business - i'd do anything for some ruffles chips, french onion dip, a reeces cup and some pepsi with a side of extra-value-meal right now!! My mouth feels odd, my tongue is sore, I'm not tasting things right... I don't have a scale at the moment, so thank god I cant look and see how much i've gained (which would only depress me!)
Its really really amazing how quickly things can go back to the way they were, AND how - if you are paying attention - you can see the differences.
Needless to say, I had some cereal, fruit and a liter of water so far. Now, I'm off the gym. Not gonna beat myself up, not gonna give into my cravings, just gonna get back up on my feet. I wonder how long it will take to reverse these effects...

Why is it we can't crave broccoli and fish...
aside from however many weeks you've been doing great! So don't let it throw you, get back to the gym, try to push out any thoughts of food from your head and keep your eye on the goal! I'm about to head over to the goal pictures thread, because pictures of people's success really motivate me.
