I'm a 6'0" 260lb muay thai boxer and am trying to drop to 240 for a fight coming up in a couple months, 3 1/2 to be exact. I really need to lose these 20lb! I'm trying this diet, "The Hacker's Diet" - Is this a good or bad diet, and why? Is there a better diet I could be using to lose the weight quicker?
If I can't drop these 20lb's I won't be able to fight.
I've tried researching other diets but I'm not so good on computers.
If you have any response to this please help.
If you're not good at computers, this particular diet plan probably won't be the best for you - it's basically a plan that approaches calorie counting (calories in and calories out) from an engineers perspective, giving you compuer-based tools to do your calculations.
If you're not good at computers, why not go just to Calorie Counting? We have a great forum here that can point you in the right direction!
If you're a guy, and not a regular dieter, you should be able to lose that weight fairly quickly. A lot of diets promise 20 pounds in 6 weeks. You can be less restrictive if you have 3 1/2 months..
