  • This morning my weight was 250.4. It's sodium. And poop. I had not pooped in a week! So today was laxative day And drinking 4 L of water day. And stay away from sodium day. We'll see what that darn scale says tomorrow

I am NOT moving my ticker up as I KNOW it's nothing but water weight.

Today I made a meal plan for the first time in 8 days!!! I did eat yesterday (for the first time in 7 days) but just let my appetite set the pace and hardly ate anything. Today it's back on track and in control. The gall bladder is GONE and NOTHING can stand in my way!!!!!!

You ladies are the best. No need to respond. I just wanted to let you know I'm back and badder than ever
  • Tough, Missy MISS, I'm gonna respond!!! Cause we were ALL thinking about you!!! And miss you, too!!!

Sounds like the surgery went well. That fluid will WHOOSH right through you!

Hope you aren't in much pain (I didn't have any post-gallbladder-ectomy!), and just hang in there. But maybe put the scales away for a few days???

    Glad you're ok.

    Kira
  • Hang in there. U are being mindful of it and not giving up with or without surgery, most would find that as an excuse to slack!!
  • Well I think you'll feel a lot better after the potty situation is resolved, and the water weight will fall right back off. I know you know that, I'm just agreeing with you. I hope that you start feeling like your sassy self again soon!
  • Yep.Wonderful narcotic analgisics!!!Bind us up.Take stool softners daily.Try prune juice warmed slightly in microwave.Works!!!!
  • glad to hear you're doing so well. When I had my gallbladder out I was out of comission for like, a week.
  • Yep I'm mostly out of commision... and that's why I have to take charge of SOMETHING because I feel totally out of control right now. I'm sore, hard to walk, hard to sit, hard to do ANYTHING!!!! This... sucks.

But it was a good food day and it will be another one tomorrow.
  • Yes, there will be a skip in your step, when you get to poop. After mine I had some much air in there, did not feel like myself for a couple of days, but just take it easy, and yes lots of water and don't worry about that scale. Glad your back and getting better.
  • sodium and poop, mmm lovely picture.

I know it's frustrating but you know well enough not to beat yourself up over things outside your control. There Will be a mighty whoosh - in every department (ew) and you'll be sliding down the pounds again really soon.
  • Hang in there my love. Hang in there. This is going to pass. In fact LOTS of things are going to pass . It went it all passes things, are going to get back to normal - only better. Hang in there. Time will pass and this will all be behind you, a thing of the past, a distant memory.

In the meantime, be kind to yourself.......
  • Not respond?? Really, like that was ever going to happen. Thanks for the update. Hang in there!
  • You are going to have a giant leap on the scale once everything is back to normal. Can't wait to see what your real weight is. I bet you'll be in the low 230s.
  • Take care of your self. Here's to quick healing time! And hope you get lots of "bathroom action" over the next few days!
  • the scale is PUT AWAY.
  • Quote: the scale is PUT AWAY.
