Rant: rotten start to a day!

  • Hey chickies,

    I'm having one of those "everything sucks" moments...
    I woke up this morning, convinced myself to do the shred because I am going shopping later for clothes (yay).
    I started it, my shoes fell off, I had to pause and tie them better (heart rate going down..) but it's ok.
    Then I spilled my water so i had to pause it again to clean up (heart rate going down...)
    Then I slipped while doing the push ups because the floor was still a bit wet!
    Then I go make breakfast.. and realize the fridge broke down, so no fresh fruits, veggies, egg whites or milk!
    I need to figure out a healthy breakfast without fridge stuff!

    When I finish ranting I always feel silly because there are such worse things in the world but I needed to get it out so thanks for listening!
  • Hugs to you. What a crappy way to start the day. But as you move through each obstacle..you get a "I did it" star. You are a true fighter today and you can show your battle wounds with pride. Hugs too!

    now i just noticed my car got a hugeeee scratch on it
    not getting any better..
    i haven't stuffed my face to make myself feel better though so that's a plus!

  • I always feel silly after I rant, too. It really does suck when things just don't go right, but you are doing a fabulous job by not eating from stress! I'm proud of you for doing your workout even through all those flukes. I hope your day gets better!
