Just For Today Challenge, July 23

    I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here.

    Join me if you like. I will probably start this challenge daily for a while. If anyone beats me on here in the mornings, and it hasn't been started, feel free to start it. Believe me, I will follow this challenge no matter who starts it.

    This has become a wonderful supportive group! (New thread started every day for a frest start!)
  • Today is my day to clear out unwanted food from my larder. So that's my goal along with drinking 2 litres of water.

    Drink 40 oz water minimum
    As close to 40 points as I can get, will be a kind of game to me to see if I can do it, I'd better plan my eats today
    2 vegetables
    Fruit won't be a problem today, I have cantalope

  • A brand new day and another chance to work on improving my diet.I read the paper every morning and there are all kinds of tempting goodies on sale in the supermarket ad today. But, I am not going to buy goodies just because they are on sale. I am so bad about that much to the detriment of my waistline!

    Todays goal is to stay under 2000 calories and not buy the goodies in the food ad just because they are on sale. They will still be there and will only cost a little bit more whenever I really want them. I can do this.

    Not done with the day yet, but am going to post. I did not meet all my goals. But it was a good day.

    I met my goal today. I picked up dinner at Panda Express and chose the vegetable side over the noodles or rice to save on the calories. I am feeling kind of hungry though. Anyway, I am glad I stayed on plan for another day. Three days in a row is probably a record for me. Of course, my plan is rather generous but for now it is probably good enough to still lose weight. The reading on the scale was actually down a bit more today but I am making Sunday the official weight in day so hopefully by then it will still be down.

    I had 2 veges. I need to eat my fruit.
