Last October on my 39th birthday, I decided my gift to myself would be to get fit by forty! Well, I only have 3 months till my birthday so I probably won't be at my goal, but I would love to be considerably closer.
I started South Beach phase 1 yesterday - it's a pretty good fit for me since I love veggies and cheeses, and can pretty easily give up "bad" carbs and sweets. So....here we go again!

Exercise-wise, I've started walking the pooch every evening - we are both out of shape and are panting after a couple miles
I'd also like to start back up with Jazzercise classes, but at this point I can't bear to smoosh myself into any kind of lycra workout clothes.I'm looking forward to having some weight-loss buddies!

You mentioned exercise. I can't stand exercising the first few weeks. After that, I almost crave exercising. It's strange.........
