Hello!

  • Hi! My name is Kathy and I have been lurking for the last few weeks and finally decided to join.
    I have lost 80 pounds so far, pretty much on my own. The first 50 were due to depression, I just couldn't eat. After people started commenting on my lose, I decided to start eating healthy and exercising. I watch what I eat and walk at least 2 hours everyday and do a yoga dvd 3x a week. I eat a ton of veggies on a daily basis, thank goodness everything is fresh now, I just love fresh veggies.
    I still haven't decided on a goal weight, I guess when I get comfortable with myself I'll stop.
    Many of you have inspired me and I look forward to getting to know you.

    BUT you reference stopping when you reach goal.

    say it isnt so! The habits that help you lose weight are also the ones that you need to maintain in order to keep the weight off! Please consider modifying your changes to something that you can stick to for the rest of your life. It will be the best in the long run for you and your health.
