I'm so disgusted today! Now, I have an infection in my arm where the IV was! Damn!! And, this is while I'm taking an antibiotic orally! What is with my body? It's bad enough that it's sagging and wrinkling and my memory is ****! I can't figure out how I got an infection! The nurse who removed the IV did everything correctly. I kept the area clean with alcohol. The area is red and swollen and sore to the touch. I guess I'll be calling the doctor AGAIN. The poor man is going to think I have a crush on him at this rate!

Being sick is the pitts. I know what you are going through. I had the same thing happen to me although it was over 20 years ago. I don't know what caused it either, but the vein that the IV went through got infected. Hurts like the devil, but it does get well. It seem like when our bodies start to go to pot, it doesn't know when to stop. Mine started when I was 28 years old. I had a total of 7 operations in a 5 year period. (and I wonder why I put on weight?) But luckily after that thing have been great ever since, except my weight, which has caused my knee problems. Anyway, I said all of this to say that you can rant to me anytime you want as I certianly understand.
