Protein toppings for homemade pizza?

  • What do you use for protein toppings on your homemade pizza? I have ideas for the veggies and cheese, I just need healthy protein options

  • I love grilled chicken on pizzas. I also sometimes use lean ham or Canadian bacon.
  • like mandalinn i like to make chicken pizzas!! it is really good and nice lean protein, i have also used hamburger meet. I love making my own pizzas its so fun for the whole family
  • Once I took superlean ground beef and made little tiny meatballs. Sooooooo satisfying.
  • when I REALLY want pepperoni I put turkey pepperoni on it- helps and is much better!
  • Canadian Bacon is very lean and sometimes I do a seafood pizza with shrimp and scallops.
  • I have browned ground turkey breast in some italian spices and used it where I would have used ground beef in the past - depending on brand it is 120 cals, 1.5ish grams of fat, about 27 grams of protein per serving.

    ETA - Oh, and I love grilled chicken, turkey pepperoni or turkey bacon, and the little meatballs sound yummy.
