I ate whatever I wanted this weekend but smaller portions (I basically only ate 1/2 of everything)...I had a real hot dog (not the turkey dogs I make), a snow cone, funnel cake, fried chicken, you name it! For me, deprivations on holidays leads to my quitting calorie counting so I just said the heck with calories for a few days and lived it up. Interestingly, when I eat the junk food it is at first appealing but that quickly wears off..I actually end up missing healthier food. Not to mention the affect that eating grease and fat has on your GI system! Beginning today I'm back to 1500 a day of healthy eating and it feels good.
Try not to be too hard on yourself...sure, you want to lose weight but life is also short and if it means splurging for a day you'll be OK

The most important thing is to not beat yourself up...a lot of us are emotional eaters and when we are losing weight we want to have our self-esteem as high as possible.
CurvyBlond19 is right on...drink lots of water!
Good Luck!
