Hi all, My Dr recommended "Mastering Your Metabolism" yesterday and as I started reading it, I LOVED it. Is anyone else reading this? I am also reading the 30 day challenge book with it that has menus and exercises all picked out and you just follow them for 30 days. Does anyone want to do this with me???!!! Since Independence Day is coming up, I thought it only fitting that I make myself Independent from an unhealthy lifestyle!!! I can't wait - who's with me? Molly

Molly, count me in. I got the 30-day challenge book and love it. The meals are actually food I eat and the recipes are easy. I also like having the exercise laid out for me each day. I'm going to order "Mastering Your Metabolism". I'm hypothyroid so it might help that, too.

I stopped at a barnes and noble and sat down to read it, it was so nice to someone as awesome as jillian overcome her personal eating issues and it helps me to continue on my quest for taking over the world. oh and my weight loss goals XD

My mom bought this book and let me borrow it. I thought it was really good.

I have a question though, has anyone actually made an appt with an endocrinologist to get their levels checked? I think I might. I've always had issues with slow weight loss and my mom has a lot of thyroid issues, so I wonder if my hormones are all out of whack.

i had my hormones checked a year or so ago, and the doc said my hormone levels are normal. i had another blood test to check some other hormones, still awaiting for the results letter.

i'm fascinated by all things related to metabolism. i cant wait till i get the book!

i listen to her podcasts and i learn so much! i love jillian. she is so great!
