They do have people who show the modified version of things. There's no crazy poses that require a lot of balance. In the very beginning, I couldn't hold the downward dog for long, so I would come out of it for 15 seconds then jump back in. They even tell you if you have to take a break, go into this easy pose. Also, when they introduce new poses, he tells how it's modified. Granted, some things don't have modifications (like holding your arms out), but you can always break from the pose for a second until you build to that strength level.
It's also great because as I've gotten stronger and more flexible, I'm able to commit to each pose more and continue pushing myself.
