Has anyone tried these? Are they worth the $40? I think I would break my neck in them but if they'd really make my butt look better its a risk I'm willing to take. What do you think?
I had to look this up, because my first thought was "how could shoes possibly make your butt look any better?"
It's an interesting concept though. The only thing that bothers me is that they say "The calorie-burning rate when wearing the sandal style is three times that of wearing ordinary shoes and two times that of wearing the boots and clogs." I highly doubt that is true. And they don't provide any sort of study or proof for this. Plus, it looks like it'd be dangerous to be active wearing these xD
I'm not knocking it entirely, but I would consider something like squats for your butt.
They probably make your rate of regular walking more inefficient, so in theory you would burn more calories walking around in them, but whether its enough to count or shape up your butt, I have no idea.
I bought MBTs today. They were £95 and I feel they are a bit ugly, but I like the way they feel and if they make my thighs, calves or *** look hotter, I'll be happy.
I also occasionally have lower back pain (especially when hillwalking) and I've heard they can do wonders for that.
$40??? where did you find them at this price? i tried on a pair at dsw and they were listed for $100. ive been really interested in these shoes, but when i tried them on, they didnt feel that much different, so i was skeptical for $100. now $40... id be more willing to try...
I havn't tried that brand, but I work for a store that used to sell Fitflops, which work in a similar way. I bought them only because I got a good price. The first couple times I wore them, I could tell my legs were being worked, but after that, I was used to it. I don't think it made a difference for me or anyone else. We only sell them online now, but we have had several customers in the last month return them to our store saying they don't like them at all. It is a different brand, so maybe it is better.
