weight watchers

  • Hi friends, is there a place here where I can read about Weight Watchers, how the diet works, the rules, what does pts mean what foods are allowed, etc. ,Or do I have to get the info. else where?
  • You cannot find that information on this site, but it is pretty easily available on the web. I would just do a search and you should be able to find it.

The other thing you could do would be to go to a meeting. It will cost you about $12 and you will get all of the information you need on how the diet works. You can also buy a food companion while you are there for $10 and it has the points values of all the most common foods. You can probably find the points values or a calculator online if you don't want to buy the book. Hope this helps!
  • If you find a meeting location, your first meeting is free. You can sit in and listen and see if you like it before you decide to sign up.

I do the monthly pass which is cheaper than paying per week (works out to $9 or $10 per week).

You can also find a lot of info on the program on WW's site.
  • You don't get the info until you sign up. You are asking for someone to give you the program for free which violates copyright law.
  • I use the online WW and I LOVE it. All the information you need is there and it's super easy to use. Also, it"s really not that expensive. I think I paid 80 something for 3 months!

I really wouldn't rely on internet sources do WW. I think its worth it to sign up and benefit from all the cool stuff that comes with being a member. For some reason, I don't much trust all the available info on the net!

    Good Luck!
