Beware Of The Skinny Cow

  • I went to the Skinny Cow website and found the nutritional info for the new Fudge Bars. They have them listed as 90 calories. The ones I've been buying say 65 calories. All this time I thought they were 1 point bars when they are really 2 points. They are still a good treat at 2 points but they were alot better at 1 point.
Has anyone come across this? They are also discontinuing their sundae cups until the fall .

  • I've been reading about some of these calorie issues with Skinny Cow products on these boards and on the WW site. I also saw a letter from Skinny Cow management (on Dottie's site) that stated that there are many rumors going around that are false. I'm not sure what to believe; however, if you have the actual calories--one cannot dispute that. As you said, though, two points isn't bad.

  • Because Skinny Cow/Silloutte cares about being honest and is always concerned they had the bars double and triple checked for accuracy and that is why the change happened. They were not accurate before.
  • I just bought a box...
the other day at the store and it said 90 calories. I can't believe that those are 2 points and so are the skinny cow icecream sandwiches...seems like you get more with the icecream sandwich. I bet sugarfree fugecicals (sp?) are only one point...at least sugar free popsicals are
