Joining the Ranks

  • Hi all,

So tonight is the night that I finally rejoin Weight Watchers. I'm a little nervous. I've been doing nothing but eating these past few weeks (college finals + stress = comfort eating) so it's safe to say that all of this will be reflected on the weighing scales. However, I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and doing something positive about my weight.

I'm no stranger to weight watchers. I first joined it at the tender age of 16 and within a year reached my goal weight. Then, silly me, I stopped going to meetings and piled back on all the weight plus some extra. I'm 21 now, and ready to shift these extra pounds one week at a time

I just thought I'd introduce myself here, as I reckon I'll be spending increased time in the Weight Watchers section over the coming weeks

    Frey x.
  • Good to hear that you have such a positive attitude. Hope everything goes well for you tonight.
  • Welcome back to WW Congrats on your past success, and we will be here cheering you on this time!
  • Thank you guys so much
  • Welcome! I have a kitty named Freia!!! Goddess of the Forest!!!
You'll have a great weigh-in and a great experience here, for sure...

  • Welcome! I did the same thing -- lost a lot of weight on WW (not to goal, but still got down to a healthy weight) and then thought I could do it on my own. I kept the weight off for about 5 years, but then had a major job change, stress levels skyrocketed, and I'm now 60 pounds heavier than I was when I walked in the WW door for the first time. What an accomplishment! (that's satire)

Good luck to you. You are a wise goddess, to be determined to solve this problem NOW.

Thank you Kiramira . I just feel so positive and really determined this time around, and I think that's half of the battle won already. I've got a lot of work to do (oh, stepping on that scales was a wake up call let me tell you lol) but I'm ready and raring to go!

I know how you feel Xan, it's such a simple system, you think that you'll be able to keep up with it once you leave WW but it turns out to be a **** of a lot harder! I think I need the embarassment of standing on a scales in front of my leader every week - at least it motivates me

Thank you for your kind words
  • Good luck! I can't wait to hear about/see your success!
