Yuck, I've had a terrible taste in my mouth for two days that is even worse whenever I eat anything, especially dairy. Has anyone else had this problem? I know people in ketosis often have this complaint, but I'm not doing low carb, nor am I starving myself. Anyone have any ideas? It's driving me crazy
no, but promise me if it's not gone tomorrow you go talk to a doctor.
weird wiring misfires like that should always always be taken as flags.
let the pros tell you nothing is wrong okay?

Is it possible that you are having a problem with a tooth or an abscess on a tooth? I know that abscesses can cause a bad taste in the mouth. Just a thought.
can you describe the taste?
Sometimes a "metallic" taste in the mouth can be a reaction to certain medications...
Are you drinking a lot of stuff sweetened with artificial sweetener? Sometimes if I overdo the diet soda (especially Fresca), I feel like the pores in my tongue are oozing aspartame. (Yes. It's REALLY gross! :P )
It's a bit of a metallic taste, bitter-- like I've sprayed hairspray in my mouth.
There's no pain in my mouth, so I don't think my tooth is abscessed.
I'm thinking it may be some kind of vitamin deficiency.
Do you track your food through one of the online sites, which give you a breakdown of vits and mins as well as cals? That might give you an insight.
Could you be pregnant? That was my first sign that I was pregant with both my children. That or maybe hormones going wacky.

Sorry to hear about the bad taste.
My first thought was a tooth going bad. Although sinus drainage, even slight can cause the same issue.
A lot of medications including some antibiotics like Biaxin are bad for a terrible after taste effect.
Sorry I don't have any fresh suggestions.
