I did it! 10% gone-

    I am just so excited that I wanted to share my good news with you!

    I joined a gym in Sept of 08 with my DBF and was losing weight pretty slowly- 17 lbs in 5 months so I decided to really focus on the food part of weight loss as the excercise was rockin'.

    I joined WW again on Jan. 28, 09 weighed 231 when I walked in the room. Last night , at weigh in I was 208.6- I have lost 23 lbs since my start date. This is actually my 10% goal!! I was not expecting it because I had thought I needed to lose more for some reason! I was totally caught off guard. It was such a pleasant suprise!

    I have almost lost 40 lbs since september now... .6 lb away if I will count that... he he I am really excited to continue on to my next goal of weighing 199- which is 9.6 lbs away.... Onerland here I come!!!

    I just wanted to share my bit of success with you all! I love reading others stories as motivation!

  • That's so cool! You are da' bomb! It does seem to be about both doesn't it? Diet and exercise. Lately I think it's about destressing too - not a direct link but sort of the third leg on a stool.

  • Wow! Good for you. I have my first weight loss on WW. This is the first week that I have actually counted the correct way and I lost 4 lbs, which is a good start but I was really hoping for a larger lost. I think this week I will try to add at least 30 mins of walking and hopefully I will get a larger number this week....Keep up the good work...
