    well, today I used some banked points to have some of dh's birthday cake. I usually don't like to use banked points, only do that infrequently, so I won't beat myself up about it. It would have been nice if I'd only had one piece of cake, rather than 2 though!

    Rabbit, I love trail mix. It's really hard for me to walk past it in the store and not drool. But if I get it I can't stop eating it until it's all gone. Don't know what happened to Bailey. She's been MIA for awhile now. I hope everything is okay.

  • I love trail mix too! This is a tropical one, my favorite part is the pineapples. I won't be buying that again for awhile! I tried to act like I was buying it for dh - yeah right. ~ Hope everything is ok with Bailey too.

    hmm. all those points left and I gained 2.5 last night. Am I retaining water again? Should I eat more towards the middle of my points (most days I've been at the low end)? Should I measure all my portions?

    I probably shouldn't say out of control, just not right. I am constantly starving and tired. I've been in bed asleep by 7:30 every night this week. I've been eating lots of fruits and veggies, I take a woman's multi-vitamin, and I get lots of exercise. I can't figure it out...hopefully this vacation I'm taking at the end of the month will help me. I fixed a giant thing of pasta and veggies last night and that really seemed to help some of my hunger.

  • Liz - hmm. that sounds weird. Maybe you do just need a nice relaxing vacation. That pasta is definitely a filler. I read an interesting article in my fitness magazine about how much carbohydrates we should have per day, how much protein, how much fat. I really don't watch all of that too much, just try to get the fruit/veggies in and stay within points. I may try it for awhile - when I get back. I'm leaving for the weekend, will be back on Sunday and fill in my journal then.
