  • Hello! I could really use a person or persons who I could check in with daily. I really want to stay motivated and really don't have any friends here who I can turn to. Anyone else like to give it a whirl?
  • I'm game. I think the idea of checking in daily is a great idea. I know I would definitely benefit from something like that.
  • I am really interested too. Maybe we could create a "team"?
  • A team sounds like a good idea. Count me in!
  • Hi!

I would love to as well. I am on another thread with some fabulous ladies and you can never have too much of a good thing!

I find coming on here and writing about the day, struggles, successes and sometimes about nothing at all is great.

    I don't have a signature yet but I started at 221 and I'm at 219 now

Looking forward to getting to know you all!
  • I'm definitely in! I think it's a great idea. It's always nice to have people to talk to about this at the end of the day and I'm pretty sure my roommate is sick of me talking about my weight/exercise!
  • I like the team idea! How do we make this team thing happen?
  • O me too me too! Waving hand wildly! If we form a group what can it be called.... here are some details about me and we can see if we have ANYTHING in commen

I love Reading, scrapping, bike riding and Rollerblading.
    I am a wife
    I am a mother to 2 boys.

    Seems like a great idea

Im 17, losing weight for my graduation ceremony, yaay

    now im 176.4
    I want to reach 150
  • I'm very in too! I check this site multiple times a day but not everyone is quite that active on the Medifast board. I'd LOVE to come in here and check up with everyone daily, just see how they are doing that day so far when it comes to their diet.
  • And some info about me:

    I am 19.
I am studying acting in Baltimore.
I like reading, bike riding, graphic design.

I know my boyfriend is completely sick of me nattering on about diet and exercise tips. It is very hard to change your lifestyle without trying to influence the people around you! It's so hard to watch him eat enormous bowls of pasta and kettle corn and drink beer... Having people online to talk to who understand and will help keep me accountable is so important. My boyfriend means well, but he usually just ends up making me eat more.

So, a little bit about me...
I am 20, college student (from Wisconsin, studying in Maryland), and almost at my goal, but still struggling with proper nutrition.
  • Rowenna, my boyfriend is the exact same way! Where are you studying? I am at UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County)!
  • Quote: Rowenna, my boyfriend is the exact same way! Where are you studying? I am at UMBC (University of Maryland Baltimore County)!
I'm at St. John's in Annapolis, studying...everything ("liberal arts"--philosophy/literature/the classics/history of math and science....) We are not so very far apart!

Boyfriends are so hard. Mine lost 70 lbs fairly easily by tweaking his diet and exercising a little bit. It has taken me ENORMOUS effort to lose even 30 pounds, and I have completely revamped my way of approaching eating and food... he manages to keep off his weight and still eat pretty much whatever he wants, and I exercise way more than he does. It's not fair! I guess different people lose weight differently. I feel better about myself though, because I know what I am doing is healthier and better for me than his method, even if he looks better.
  • Well, my boy is 130lbs. and would have to put more effort that I am putting in to losing weight, in order for him to gain any. He eats terribly but just can't gain anything.

Also, we are so incredibly close! What year are you?
