On April 17, 2009 my boyfriend of 3 1/2 years PROPOSED!!!!
Josh (My now fiancee) and I went to the Mall to pick up the ring. Yes, I did know it was coming, but Josh surprised me nevertheless. I knew the ring was coming because we had gone to the mall about a week and a
half prior to look at styles and prices. This is why its been a two week binge - we started celebrating ourselves the day he bought the ring (it had to be sent away to be resized) We didn't intend to get anything on that day. However, when we went to Littman Jewelers we spotted the ring. It was the last one of the kind; they discontinued
the style. The ring was beautiful and unique. Josh decided that he wanted to get this ring and he wanted to buy it that day. I was excited because: 1. I love him 2. I adore the ring.
Anyway, on our way home we stopped to pick up groceries. When we got back to campus we headed up to my room to put the groceries away. I get to my door and there's a sign on the door that says,"I love Ambie - October 11, 2005-Forever." Obviously, I get a little suspicious. I walk in the door to find an arrangement on my bed. There was a dozen roses, a note, and the first stuffed animal that Josh ever bought me (you can program it with your voice). I read the sign. It read:
"kaythanksbye2: Amber will you go out with me? theatrelife101: Yes, Josh, I will
(This is how he asked me out)

Three and a half years have gone by so fast and I can hardly believe it. What started as band geek love has grown into true passion. I love you so much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, so I have just one more question for you..."
Then I turn to look at the bear. It had a "squeeze me" note on its arm. I squeeze it and it says "Amber, will you..." and then I turn around to hear "marry me" and see my sweetie on one knee holding out the open ring box.
I have to say - I knew it was coming, but he took me by surprise!
And OMG - yesterday my mom insisted we go out to dinner on her to celebrate. We went to olive garden for the first time. The food was great, but JAYSUS those people seem to throw food at you! SO MUCH FOOD! I felt like I was going to burst after that meal, and we took half of it home!
Well, I just wanted to tell everyone what was going on, and I'm hoping to get back on track now. The wedding is scheduled for April 8, 2010, so I have about 14 months to lose a lot of weight! Wish me luck!
