Motivators?

  • I am in dire need of some motivation! Dont get me wrong going from where I was to where I am is motivation but lately I have not been feeling it. Im still working out and eating good (maybe not as good as I should) and Im still losing but I just dont feel good if that makes sense.

SO ladies give me some motivation please.....

    Start weight -210 size 16
    Current weight- 174 size 10
Goal is 165 (i will change it once I hit that as I think 155 is where I want to be )
  • I'm a little anti-social. Okay, really antisocial and often put in social situations. What really filled me with enough inspiration to explode was I joined a class. Not intentionally. I picked up an exercise partner off a craigslist, one my weight and height, and she happened to be a student of Judo. I went to a class. Then I went to several... and now I don't consider working out a chore. I consider it training- and that gets me all sorts of hyped up. I desperately want to keep up with the other students (youngest student is 7 and oldest is 65) and it keeps me going to vigor.
  • I find looking at the goal and mini-goal pictures threads really motivate me.
  • First off, you & I are the same height, almost the same starting weight, about the same current weight, and around the same goal. Im sure also, that like myself, you feel so much better physically, mentally, and emotionally! Dont stop now, you & I are so close to our goals that stopping now would make this whole process in vain, and I KNOW we've both worked too freakin' hard to end it this close to the finish line!!

Also, this might sound bad, but I let the people I dont like be a big motivator for me. I have an ex good friend, who is big, but when I started this process & offered to be buddies, she said "Im happy with my body" all smug like. So now we're no longer friends, and she oogles my Myspace and sees the new pictures & my ticker! Also, my ex, my husband's ex, and my ex's new wife, all look at the Myspace. So, I do it, not only because I want to love myself even more, but so they can see how even more amazing I am!
  • I have several costuming events this summer, I have even bought fairly expensive custom corsets and such at the size I think I *should* be by that time. I am motivated by the monetary investment and knowing that there will be pictures taken.

I also go to a monthly event where they take pictures. I missed last month due to illness so when I go again I will be 12-15 pounds less than last time I went. That is VERY motrivating!
