I Hope I Don't Get Arrested....

  • 'Cause I just hit the 5-0!!! Woke up this morning officially fifty pounds lighter than I was on 1/12 (and actually had a couple -- ok maybe 5 -- beers last night). It might be the exercise, it might be getting crazy busy and forgetting to eat some days, it might be the fact that I rigged my scale (j/k) but I am back to my law school jeans (Abercrombie boot cut for anyone who's curious) for the first time in 4 yrs. While everybody has a unique metabolism, the FSD has been my Wonderboy (reference anyone?) and the weight has just melted off. I haven't even started weight training againt yet and need to figure out when to start a program pretty soon. I know I'm getting into the bragging zone, but hearing stories like these actually helped me this winter when I felt lazy, discouraged, impatient, etc. I just want to let everybody know that the FSD is the real deal and will help you if you want it badly enough.
  • congrats!

  • Hah! "Wonderboy" I love that song. I'm assuming you were talking Tenacious D, here. Otherwise, never mind.

Seriously, though CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm very inspired by you right now, and I hope to be caught up to you soon LOL
  • You guys rock and thanks for all the compliments!! The Wonderboy reference was from The Natural -- it was the bat Roy Hobbs made as a boy from the tree in his front yard that was struck by lightning...It was his perfect match and helped him become do anything he wanted on a ballfield. Softball season's about to start up and I know I'm laying it on pretty thick...
  • Congrats JAF - you should celebrate!! I'm on day 6 of Phase 1 and I can't wait to weight myself next week. Keep sharing the success stories - I think it gives all of us hope!!
