Well, except for pbs. All of them are carrying the memorial service for those 4 Oakland cops. Apparently there are traffic jams in all 4 directions entering Oakland.

We were in Oakland on Saturday. We'd gone to Jack London Square and taken the ferry over to SF. When we returned, we got traffic notices on the radio that parts of Oakland were shut down due to 2 police actions. Turns out they were both involving the same thug.

I saw on TV (at the Y) and reading online that the neighborhood the guy was from had a candlelight vigel for the killer and people were chanting "no more genocide"

And the news media is interviewing the killers family but I haven't seen one thing around here on the news about the policemen's families.

Why does the news always seem to glorify the badguys!

I see that they are finally honoring the fallen policemen. so sad.
