  • So I went out and bought a Self magazine and there was an article I absolutely LOVED. It was about a woman that rated herself in five different categories for one week. Depending on how you do (if you meet the category or not) you get up to five stars for each day. I love doing things like this because it helps me see the big picture- and helps me understand what I’m doing right or wrong during the week.
    Would anyone like to do this with me for one week? I thought it would be a great new take on staying on track

    It looks like this:

    Sunday
    Sleep Well? - yes! Sleeping in is awesome
    Eat Right? - yes! stayed under my calories limit&had quality foods!
    Work Out? - yes! 60 mins elliptical- killer abs too
    Stretch? - yes! 10 glorious minutes!
    Talk Yourself Up? - yes! complimented my body during shopping!
    Total Stars: 5 Stars!!!

    Work Out? Yes- 30 mins weights
    Stretch? Yes- 10 wonderful mins- focused on things I don't normally stretch
    Talk Yourself Up? Yes- feeling slimmer

    Work Out? Yes!!! 45 mins eliptical- 4miles!
    Stretch? Yes Yes Yes- I love stretching
    Talk Yourself Up? Yes and No- grumpy due to lack of sleep and hard on myself today, but very proud of my 4 miles
    Total Stars: **** 4 Stars- I'll get that sleep tonight!

    Sleep Well? slept in a bit longer than I should have, but needed the rest -so yet!
    Eat Right?Yes! 1410 calories
    Work Out? Yes! 40 mins elliptical
    Stretch? not really
    Talk Yourself Up? yep, wore my nice button-down told myself how good it looked!

    Sleep Well?not really, was up too late, baby woke me up at 6 am...tired.
    Eat Right?Yes! ummm... didn't get a lunch break, ate fried chicken, squash potatoes, squash and ice cream at my moms, drank a mountain dew for a boost...so...no.
    Work Out? 30 ds [all I have time for] :-)
    Stretch? yep.
    Talk Yourself Up? yeah, cuz my work pants are way too big and I bought a shirt I thought I would look horrible in and I looked totally hot in it.

    Work Out? Yes! 1 hour on the eliptical
    Stretch? Yes! 10 mins
    Talk Yourself Up? Yes! Feeling like meeting my goal might actually be possible

    Sleep Well? Yes and No- felt rested, but would love to sleep later
    Eat Right? Yes! Skipped the ice cream with the co-workers and with my husby
    Work Out? Yes! 35 mins weight lifting
    Stretch? Goodness Yes- it was wonderful
    Talk Yourself Up? Yes- still feeling happy about my NSV

    Sleep Well?Yeah, not bad at all...
    Eat Right? didn't get a lunch break, then came home and my bf had put half a pizza on a plate for me, drank 2 mountain dew's and ate a plethora of m and m's [probably because I didn't get a lunch break]
    Work Out? 30 ds [all I have time for] :-)
    Stretch? yep.
    Talk Yourself Up? ummm.. I remember thinking my hair looked cute...

    Eat Right?Once again, not allowed a lunch break [I know, right?] So I had to grab Taco bell in between my morning job and doing hair all night [I'm a licensed cosmetologist on the side by appointment], also had a can and a big Taco bell glass of Mountain Dew, some M&M's, and a water.
    Work Out? 30 ds [all I have time for] :-)
    Stretch? yep.
    Talk Yourself Up? I don't know that I talked myself up, but I did stand up for myself to my boss and that's huge for me! I'm ready to take on my life finally!
