Hello, today 031809 is my first day, I just joined and am happy for the support. My username is irishtracy but my real name is Anne. I was born 020755 which makes me 54 yrs young. I have been married to the same wonderful man, Tom, for over 31 yrs and we have 2 grown sons (no grandbabies yet but they assure me that they are practicing). I enjoy driving my boat or just floating in it down the river reading a good mystery. I also enjoy crocheting, knitting, hand quilting and making bookmarks. I use to love to garden but I haven't been able to get motivated to garden lately! Currently unemployed here in beautiful Thousand Oaks, CA., we also have a small vacation home in AZ that we share with our youngest son a couple blocks from the Colorado River. I've worked in HR and management for the last 12 or so yrs. and would love a change. We have 3 beautiful pound puppies, pointer mix, Lab, Chihuahua and the most finicky cat you'll ever want to meet. I've always been a terrible eater, never eaten vegies (gag), love potatoes, bread and sweets (terrible sweet tooth). Luckily I've always stayed around 129 lbs but this last yr I've put on 21 lbs and can't seem to get rid of them???? Change of life, Anti Depressants, not working...all contributers! I'm hoping I can shed at least 2-4 lbs each month for the next 3 months (summer and the dreaded bathing suit) by exercizing daily. I am 5'3"tall, 150 lbs with Brown hair (blond weave) and have Gray eyes (use to be blue). I look forward to meeting some of you and hopefully get the support I need to stay focused, keep track of my caloric intake and Exercize.

You seem pretty young to me, Chickie -- I'm part of the "crop of '43". I'm well ahead of you on the grandchildren front, too.
