  • Anybody interested in a short, 2 week mini-challenge?

    It turns out that April Fools' Day is exactly 2 weeks from today --- and I was thinking that might be a perfect time frame for evicting the 2 pounds I didn't lose for my St. Paddy's goal (and their cousin from Dublin that showed up on my scale this morning, darn it!) April Fools' is a great excuse to relax and laugh, maybe mix healthy eating with balloons and clowns and jokes.....

    I mean, its not like those silly pounds of fat have anything to fear from clowns, right?

    Mwahahahahaha!


    Any takers or is this just too short/too silly/too soon?
  • I'm game. Since it is still relatively early for me I'll set a goal of 5 pounds in two weeks.

  • I'm in for 3 pounds. I'm not accustomed to setting goals, and never count calories, so I'll stick with something that I think is very achievable.

    4/1: 299 - and the achievement of my first goal!
  • OOOh a new burst-of-energy challenge, I'm in too!!! I'll aim high, five for me too....261----ummm----yes that makes 256.

    I've been a 100lb club lurker for awhile and have been waiting for a good time to jump in and chit-chat this may be it!

    I'm a 33 yr old mom of two (Robert 9 and Rachel 5) and wife to Mike(12 years this December!). I work three days a week, 7p-7a midnights at the local hospital. I'm a nurse and specialize in diabetic education and kidney dysfunction (hemo and peritoneal dialysis) Yes. It is as interesting as it sounds. But I like it and I love nights though it wrecks havoc on my clock.

    So....two weeks to the day? I didn't realize! Thanks for the invite! xo Michelle

    I will shoot for 6 total pounds by the 1st so 345 is my goal by April 1st, ambitious? maybe, but hey

  • I could use a new goal too! My little challenge ends tomorrow, so perfect time to try something else! I am losing pretty darn slow, so I am going to go with 3 pounds! Good luck everyone!!

    Welcome to the 100lb club. I live quite close to you (just up in Kent!). Are you enjoying our gorgeous weather? Helps to get outside and be active when it's this beautiful out.

  • Okay, I'll delurk too. 3 lbs. by April Fools Day sounds doable. The weight just doesn't come off as quickly as it used to when you get to my age (53).
  • Hi gang! Hi Onyx!!! Awesome that you live so close...yep, I'm in Canton, I can't remember if my profile says that or not. I don't think I've met anyone on here this close!!

    Just got back from the gym!! 50 min cardio today is all I had time for. But I feel GREAT! I've only been back on plan for one week.

    To do list...shower, take kids to Chick Fil-a for school fundraiser night, drop kids off and make a show at a calling hours and off to work all by 7p. Run run run.....what do you guys order from Chick Fil-a? I suppose any responses I get will be after the fact, but I'm curious. I think they have a fruit cup on the menu. Plus I think the reg chicken sandwich has a wheat bun. Yes it is fried though.

    I usually stay really on plan overnight at work. Talk to ya'll tomorrow. xo Michelle
