It used to be that every department had their regular employees, you know, two or three or whatever. Then each department had a team lead managing them, and the team leads answered to their department manager. A department manager might have 3 to 5 departments under them.
It was decided to eliminate the team lead job, and every department would just have their own department manager. I got the news yesterday that I've been made a department manager.
So, I put the diet on hold last night and DH and I went out to celebrate.
