You know how on the Biggest Loser tv show they do that "Last Chance Workout" when they work out super hard the day before a weigh-in just to burn any last extra calories they can? Well, I was just wondering if any of you have a last chance or the day before a weigh-in routine. Do you eat anything different? Cut the salt? Drink more water? Less water? Work out harder or longer? Weight yourself in the night before? I'm curious to see if any body has any day before weigh-in rituals.
I actually take my rest day the day before I weigh. Not that I actually rest, but I do less strenuous exercises. I weigh on Monday morning, and I usually have a great big exercise blowout on Saturday (usually a couple of hours), then something relaxing like walking on Sunday. We often have pizza on Sunday evenings, and as strange as it may sound, I always drop a chunk of wieght after eating pizza.
The day before I weigh in I do a couple of things, for lunch I have no bread/pasta, same for dinner, and I also eat dinner earlier than normal, and nothing after that. If I eat bread or pasta the day before I get SUPER bloated, so I try and avoid it as much as possible!
I always try to limit my sodium, heavy foods, etc., but I always get ravishingly hungry the night before my weigh-ins! I swear it's the most difficult night by far, but you'd think I would have extra motivation.
