it works for me...!

  • hi,

since mid-january i have been "loosly" following a combination of 2 different plans...and i have dropped over 30 pounds.

my website tells the plans, but i'll give you a general idea here.

i'm basically cutting out processed foods as much as possible.
i eat meat, fish, fowl, veggies, fruit, & salads...some dairy is ok.

i try to stay away from processed foods....like breads, pastas, cakes, cookies, etc.

i usually allow myself a "cheat" every day if i want one...it usually ends up being a scoop of ice cream or a piece or two of chocolate.

but the BEST part... ... I don't COUNT anything!
i eat as much as i want of the good foods!
i don't care how many calories, fat grams, carbs, etc....are in ANYTHING that's good for me!

you can grill and eat a half a chicken...skin and all! have a tossed salad with hidden valley ranch dressing, whatever veggie you want and you've got a huge meal.
you don't need bread with a meal that size....or any kind of pasta.
    you will be fully satisfied.

it's a great way to eat...and since it involves no weighing, measuring or counting, i have been able to do it without making any extra work for myself...it's eating naturally.

try it! it just may work for you!

    questions??
  • Sounds interesting
Do you find yourself tired with the limited carbs, I have a underactivie thyroid so I need all the energy I can get and I know I am a carbo addict. Also I did check your site and under the food lists it doesn't mention Oatmeal (cooked) I have had this for breakfast everyday for almost 15 years and can't stop now...lol would this be OK
  • am i limiting carbs?
only the bad ones...and i'm not CUTTING THEM OUT!

    i'm certainly not counting carbs.

yes, oatmeal (the long cooking kind, not the instant) is allowed on your God-made day, on the alternate plan i looked at.

this plan allows you to take "days off" from your restrictions.

you eat everything that God made for two or three days and then take a day and eat what you want. that's when you can have your pizza, lasagna, sub, etc. then cut those bad carbs out for 2 or 3 days again.

now i try to cut the bad carbs out every day...but allow myself one bad carb item almost every day....usually it's ice cream in the evening if i've been good all day.

it's so easy to follow! you don't really have to think about it...and you certainly don't have to 'COUNT' anything!

i'm not short on any energy...if anything i have more energy. those bad carbs keep you feeling drugged and sluggish and only make you crave more of them.

    good luck to you!
