I am new here HELLO!!

  • I am new but have been using this site for recipes for awhile. I have lost 35lbs in about 2 yrs-- yes 2 yrs-- I have been on sugar busters and then weight watchers and ediets now I have about 10 more lbs to lose and for 5 months now I have been trying to get these off and I can't. I exercise walk everyday for 35 minutes-- drink my water anout 11-12 glasses and eat very little I am around 1300 cals. a day I just can't drop anymore and I am losing my willpower to say no. I am 35 2 children and a husband who can eat anything and lose 10 in 4 days I am so frustrated.
I am currently at 140/142 I will never be skinny but I want to be comfortable I am proud of my accomplishments but friends and family do not see my weight loss I was a size 14/16 now I am a 10. any advice is so welcomed as a mom I don't have alot of time to exercise 35 minutes is about all I could spare and I do my walk faithfully 6 days a week. HELP me lose these sugar bags!!
  • How tall are you?

I've been on SUGAR BUSTERS for a over 2 years now, and I can tell you those last 10lbs took me from Feb. to June to lose. You may be having trouble because you're jumping from diet to diet and your body doesn't know which way to turn. I'd stick to a healthy WOE and be patient and give yourself some time to see what may happen.

Also, try submitting your questions onto one of the other boards, like BUDDY UP or SUCCESS, that way, more people will see and reply to your post

If I can be of any help, please, feel free to contact me-happy to try.

    Also...enjoy your accomplishmennnts so far.
I hope you get some better suggestions soon.
I am no where near my goal so I can not share my experirence... but I can share.... whether you have 10 lbs or 100lbs to lose..... we all have to take iit one day at a time and keep doing to maintain our weight loss.
  • I am new too!!!
Hi there, I am new here too. I've been dieting off and on for years. My lastest attempt was weightwatchers where I gained in excess of 12 pounds in four weeks. I swear I wasn't cheating. To say the least I was disappointed.

Fortunately, I have excellent heath coverage through work, which pays for the first $500 in dietian fees. I've been to see our one and only dietian in our city and for the past three weeks have been on a 1200 calorie diet.

Help, I am absolutely starved...I've been drinking oodles of water, haven't cheated once, not even a single potato chip and have lost only four and one half pounds.

You're doing great... you shouldn't get discouraged....take it from one who knows, you gotta hold on and keep trying....
