Hump Day!!!!!!!!!!! :d

  • Good morning ladies!!

I was so glad to see the thread so busy yesterday!! I was out of my office yesterday, my DD has pink eye, so I was home taking care of her (and some laundry that needed attention!)

Becky ~ I am so glad you finally got the ring, and I commend your DF, it takes a lot of thought and guts to propose romantically!!

Jen ~ I am so jealous of your trips, can't you take me along?

Jen ~ I hope you had a great birthday celebration! (pssst....are you pg yet???)

    Where are you Lolly????????????

Belle ~ Oh girl, I feel so bad for you, I hope you feel better soon, and I am so glad it wasn't any more serious!!

Good morning also to Ali, Trish, Kirsty, Moonbeam, star, Angie, Stacey, Lori, and all that I forgot!!!!!!!

I have been terrible staying OP lately. I just got TOM on Sunday, and I am so hungry. I have eaten everything!!! But, I am back to work today, and back into my normal schedule, so it will be better today.

I have my future sil's bridal shower this Sat. It should be a good time. And, my brother is home from Minneapolis, so it will be nice to see him again too. Doing some family things this weekend (bbq, and such) so it will be fun, plus it is a 3 day weekend. Can't get any better than that!!!

I am in the process of choosing my grad classes for this fall. Big decision, I know one I have to take for sure, but still deciding on my elective class. I had only planned on taking one class to start with, but the only way I can get financial aid, is if I take at least 6 credits. So, I am trying to figure out what sounds easier: Marketing Management or Quality Management. Neither sound too exciting to me!!

Well, better get to work, this post has taken me 1/2 hour to write! I will check in later!
  • Psssst Tonya.... NOPE!

I had Marketing classes and they were always sooo boring. Not the info, but the professors. They were dry!!!

I was a bit over last night because I had Cheddarwurst. Oh well... it was the first nice day in a long time, so we grilled. They were yummy so I don't mind! Tonight it's pizza and ice cream cake for my late b-day celebration with family... hubby planned it, can you tell?? I am making a veggie platter tho!

Wake up everyone and come out and post!

Oh and Tonya, heard Pink Eye is making it's way around here too, hope Emma is pink free!
  • Hi Tonya - I don't know anything about kid's and illness but I hope your daughter is feeling better. I always hated having to take a class I didn't really want just to get the aid package I needed. My quality mangement class was a stats class and much harder than marketing management.

Jen - hope that you enjoy the belated b-day party even if hubby didn't plan around your eating program.

I have WI today and am not looking forward to it. My eating has been terrible, I've been exercising less than usual due to a cold, and it's TOM. I just have to remind myself that it is only a number on the scale, that even my "skinny" clothes are to big on me and that I can change the number on the scale just by being more diligent in making healthy food choices. Now, if only it were as easy to make myself believe that as it was to type it!

Hope everyone has a great day.

  • Hello everyone! Time to go home once again... It's weird living between the parent's house and my apartment at school... but I've reached the point where I'm thinking about just getting a part-time job at home for something to do while I look for a "real" job. So I'm heading home with all my clothes!

I've actually been losing weight this past week again so I'm pretty happy! I think that if I have mainly "decent" days and about two really good days eating-wise, and exercise as usual, i actually do lose weight. Of course, now that I"ve figured out this 'formula,' it probably won't work anymore!

Tonya -- I don't know which class I would pick, it probably would depend on the professor. Although managemnt classes are always SOO boring -- not the professors, but the subject material!

Hello to Jen & Winter & everyone else out there!
  • New here
    Hi everyone!

I'm new here, as of today. I'm 29 ... turning 30 in 10 months, so I should get my time in on the 20-something board as quick as I can!

I have a 2-year-old daughter, am trying for another baby with my DH, live and work in Michigan (we just moved here in March) and am hoping for warm weather SOON!

My weight loss has been pretty lame. I started WW 9 weeks ago, and until last week I had lost 6 pounds. And then I had a bad week and gained 4 back!! Argh! It was so frustrating - I've been in a funk about it all week and have been eating and eating and eating. Mostly healthy stuff, but not entirely. I'm thinking about skipping this week, but that's probably the worst thing I could do.

Sigh. I need to find my motivation! Has anyone seen it ... ?
  • Hello everyone.

I just wanted to stop by to celebrate for Becky - YAY ring - and sympathise for Belle - OW!

Work is busy this week. Once again covering for the maintenance co-ordinator (2 jobs, one paycheque) and it's busy anyway. Oh well. I start riding lessons tomorrow (again) this instuctor is $15 for an hour lesson. My last lessons were $25 for a half hour. Although hard riding for a full hour will be a challenge - I hope I'm not too sore after.

Well I hope everyone has a fantastic day. I'll try to check in later.

  • Hey Everyone!

I am swamped at work since I as sent home sick the past two days, so I have a ton of things to do. But I just wanted to check in and say hello. Sorry I don't have time for my usual novel posts and individual replies, but I am lurking when possible!

Well, I have to go write a report while I choke down this bowl of lettuce. Ugh.
  • Well, just got back from WI - only up 1lb. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Who knew I'd ever be excited about gaining weight!

Angie - congrats on losing! I think working part-time while you look for a real job is an excellent idea. Having less time to job hunt will force you into being more focused with your remaining time.

Welcome beanbean! As a former resident of Michigan, I've got bad news for you - I've seen it snow this time of year! Hopefully by June spring will be in full swing.

Belle - I just caught your post from yesterday about your accident. How terrible! You'll be in my thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Good luck catching up at work Lexxy. I know how time consuming that is. Hope you are feeling better.

Well, I'm off to meet with the personal trainer to revise my strength training plan. Should be fun.

  • WELCOME BEANBEAN.... I turned 30 last week, have a 19 month old daughter, and am trying for #2. Hmmm, coincidence???? Just wanted to say welcome!!
  • Thanks!
Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Glad to see there are others here with toddlers and babies - I'm the only one of my friends who has a child (although one is pregnant now). I guess they're all late bloomers!

    Happy Thursday!
