Weight is stuck

  • My weight has stayed around 127 now since Christmas, and I'm not sure how to get it to go down again! It did this once before at 132...

    If I could just loose 7 more lbs!!!

    I exercise a few times a week, I admittently however, don't keep up with my diet as much. I'm eating all very healthy foods (mainly) but, i'm just not cutting enough out to loose - instead I'm maintaining.

    Also, I started seeing someone, and I go visit him on some weekend due to distance, so I loose my control then - and we eat out a lot. It's really tough!

    Any pointers to help me get back on the weight loss train with you all?
  • Whenever I fall off the wagon and feel like getting back on, I start a food journal again.
  • I was hovering around 140 for a loooooong time and last week I actually dropped a pound! I know it sounds like nothing but to see that 139 on the scale was huge for me. Now I keep hovering around 138-139 and what I did was make a meal plan for the weekdays with 5-6 meals and I did not deviate from it. No little extras, no late night snacking. I kept to my meal plan and drank a lot of tea to curb the cravings and it was the only thing that has changed the scale in months. It's really hard though when you get down to the weight you are at, the smaller and smaller you get, the harder it is to lose (as you know!).

    As for how to eat better on the weekends with the guy..I am still working on that one!
  • ive been stuck for about 2 months as well and like the above post i just started a food journal .. and wow no wonder why i wasn't budging! lol
  • this is pretty off topic, but i remember reading threads about how you & your boyfriend broke up right around the time me & mine did, and i've started hanging out with a boy again, so i feel you with going to see him & eating out a lot.

    because i went to his house this weekend and we totally latered a whole pizza.
