I am opening a show of my abstract work which is dedicated to the memory of my brother Ben. I have 7 of his poems, 5 drawings of I did of him, an abstract call Tears I will put as my avatar and 11 other paintings.

This isn't my first time at this venue but this show is less about the food and more about the people...I'm very excited!

what is the venue? It is amazing you have so much art on display.

I am suppose to have two of my old old paintings at the Egyptian theater for the weekend, along with a bunch of my friend's art work for that Repo the Opera film event. I did not go last night so I am not totally sure if it there. Physically it has been hard to do the work I use to (I use to paint sitting ont he bed)
Do you find you are more creative or the same since your surgery, does feeling better physically help your creativity?

Thanks guys!! The Opening at the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship's South Wing (the venue) was a great success measured by the amount of people; the positive response to my art, the drawings of Ben and his poetry and the sale of a painting! woohoo! That's success to me!

Spooky, everything is easier physically. As far as creativity, it's better because I have to reach a certain level of bored...or quiet before the great ideas hit me. When I'm not thinking about food ALL the time (just most of the time...hehe), I have more time to hit that quiet. I have always been creative but when my brother passed, it has been all about my grief process and staying out of the fridge!
