Hey guys! Finally posting after lurking. :)

  • My name is Remy, and I moved to America about 5 years ago! I'm 18 now.
    I've been the same height since I was 12. I'm only 5"3. ):
Before I moved to America, I use to live in Europe! We didn't have a car, and we walked EVERYWHERE! It was normal! There was also no fast foods, or anything like that. I was 50 kilos when I left, which is 110lbs.
I was around 135-140 lbs in my first 3 1/2 years in America, and then around 145-150, which lasted for a long time, so I thought I COULDN'T get any bigger, but now I found myself to be 160! That's just crazy! ):
It really upsets me, because I'm just getting bigger and bigger and this needs to stop NOW!
I think the girls [and guys] on here are very inspirational so I want to be a part of this community!
I've been on and off on diets/exercise before, but I REALLY want to stick with this, and I feel like you guys will keep me motivated [because that's one of the things -- I can NEVER motivate myself to do anything]!
I hope I can do this! Wish me luck everyone.
I want to go from 160 to 120, before I start college!
  • Hi Remy!!!

    Welcome! I'm glad you're here!!

Surf around! Check out the 20-something forum (you're close enough!)

What are your plans for movement and nutrition?
  • That's good you want to take control of you weight now and coming here is a good first step! Yeah, America is a little different than Europe. Most people have cars, and people are always in a rush making fast food more convenient. Anyway welcome like the previous poster said the 20''s group would be great for you.
