Chinese Fried Rice

  • 2 egg whites
    1 cup brown rice (previously prepared)
    vegetables
    green onions
    soya sauce (i'm not sure if this is allowed but i only used a few drops, and it can be eliminated)

    Scrambled the egg whites, added the brown rice and some frozen peas (you can add whatever veggies you like). Added 4 drops of soya sauce. Cooked until everything was warm and removed from heat. Add fresh green onions.

    This made enough for two servings, and took all of 4 minutes to make.
  • I tried this. The only problem that I had was that I cooked the rice and let it cool, but it still turned out mushy. Perhaps next time I will prepare the rice, put it in the fridge and cook the fried rice the following evening.
