  • and it was awesome. I haven't craved sweets until today - damn you TOM!!! Foiling my plans for hotness!

I have been hungry all day, nothing satiated my apetite other than having that cookie. I haven't had any bread, white rice or pasta in 4 weeks.
  • Ya know what? Everybody has to indulge every once in a while. Good thing it was only one, now move on and get back on track!
  • I love cookies lol. and having one cookie and savouring it tastes so much better than a box of cookies scarfed too.
  • good for you! only one. thats commitment. this lady in my class regularly brings cupcakes for all of us ( every couple of weeks) and it is sooo hard to resist. OMG! they're homemade too! she brought some today and thank goodness they were those little mini ones. i had one and it was really good. they were probably low fat or sugar free or something cause i can tell by her lunches that she eats healthy.
  • Congrats on just a cookie!!! I. Had a bite of cookie this morning and I'm making up for it now
  • 1 cookie isn't bad at all! Everything in moderation is what I get quoted all too often, but sometimes you gotta do it to keep you sane!! Good for you with the no bread, white rice or pasta! I am limiting it to one meal a day for myself... soooo hard though! Congrats!!

  • Man! Only one cookie?

I had chinese food for lunch and pizza for dinner. TOM for me too.

I am sooo mad at myself -- I even work with a trainer tomorrow.

Look forward not beyond -- I suppose.
  • DH and I split a choc chunk pecan cookie on our way home from my work today. I couldn't resist
  • My pregnant roomate brought home fresh made cinnamon buns and a pizza. Good thing i had to meet with my trainer!!! I enjoyed my bean soup
  • If I'm way under on my calories for the day I slip a sweet treat in sometimes, strictly because I feel that if I have a little every once and a while, the cravings stay at bay and I'm not tempted later to overindulge. So don't feel bad, just think about how much more amazing that cookie tasted than when you could eat as many as you wanted whenever you wanted.
  • I would regard that as a success that you just had the one and it made you feel better! If you have a craving it's easy to eat everything in the world BUT what you want.
  • I made a batch of cookies for my bf the other day and have been sneaking one here and there--result: my blood sugar crashes and I end up doing things like eating four pieces of bread for no apparent reason at 11 pm. I'm so ashamed

So I've been thinking: next time I make sugary treats for him, I'll make a healthier batch for myself with applesauce subbed for butter, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, some protein-packed nuts and dark chocolate chips or raisins. Then when I'm tempted to sneak I'll at least get some stabilizing fiber to keep me from going off the edge late at night.
  • dont feel bad.. i am a baker.. and not only do i crave sweets.. i crave to bake.. and right now i am unemployed...so i really wanted to bake something today.. and so i went in my cupbard, realized i had all the ingredients to make yellow cupcakes with a chocolate baileys frosting, and so i did. And then... I ATE ONE (its a bad thing, but im not over my calories for the day so i just have to behave the rest of the night.) Tomorrow morning the cupcakes are going with my fiance to work, his coworkers should appreciate them... i hope !
  • I haven't had any cravings all day. So I'm good for now. I will probably crave chocolate next month.
  • I had a cookie today too. I work in a deli thats right next to a bakery. They bring over trays of cookies to cool them off and all i can smell is the cookies. i caved today for being good and excersizing 30 minutes before work.
