but if you are within a "healthy weight range" but with a high body fat %, then lowering your body fat, while gaining muscle at the same time will result in a visual difference in the body rather than a smaller number on the scale.
i remember seeing a weight lifting mag, and there was an article with 10 different women, all a healthy weight, but after 90 days of this program, all had significant body changes, but stayed roughly the same weight.
Agree completely.

See, that's not how I saw it. She wasn't saying it was BS, but just like when the yellow teammember said, "I've been building muscle" and Julian basically called it BS, told her she was making excuses and not to sugarcoat it.
I think the whole muscle building thing gets totally blown out of proportion and just like the "I'm losing inches" it turns into a fallback excuse. Yeah, she only lost 2 pounds and like I said in the other TBL thread, she's busy, has 5 kids and hasn't gotten her food straightened out. It is what it is, but don't cover it up with excuses that are unfounded.
And I can't believe a woman with 5 kids can find time to spend 2-4 hours at the gym everyday. If she can spend all that time at the gym, then she's making time to lose weight. I found the whole thing rather odd. But also as JM said, she's on the ranch now.
