So yesterday I started calorie counting. I made sure to stay under 2000 calories, and was very strict on it (I counted every berry I put in my yogurt!) Yet, this morning I've gained 2 pounds. It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound, right? So that's like saying I consumed 7000 calories yesterday and I know I didn't.
Is this common when people begin diets? A thing where our bodies do some funky thing to gain weight when they're nervous they'll be restricted to lower amounts of food or something?
TMI, I know, but I'm also very constipated this morning. Figured that side note may be related. Something to do with fiber, maybe?

The good news is that if you know you binged you have some time to help yourself. LOL. I am so ashamed to admit that I ate 2700 calories on Friday! OMG! OMG! OMG! I went through some medical testing last weeks after five years of not going to my doctor and was beyond nervous. Soooo--I ran on Friday extra. Yesterday I ran extra and decreased calories to 650. This morning I ran extra and will reduce calories again today. Hopefully by tomorrow, when I average Friday, Saturday and Sunday, my binge won't be so bad looking in my journal.
