    The new Iron Chef will be decided by whichever recipe elicits the most 'yumms' from fellow competitors. The winner will then have the honor of choosing a new theme ingredient for the next edition of....

  • Barbecue Chicken Pizza
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 (10-ounce)pkg refrigerated pizza crust
    3/4 cup chopped green pepper (about 1 medium)
    3/4 up thinly sliced red onion wedges (about 1 small onion)
    1/2 cup honey bbq sauce
    1 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
    1 cup (4 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

    1) coat a 12 inch pizza pan or lrg. baking sheet with cooking spray. unroll dough, pres into pan. bake at 425* for 5 min. or until crust begins to brown.

    2) while crust bakes, coat a medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat unil hot. add green pepper & onion, and cook, stirring constanly, 5 minutes or until tender.

    3) spread bbq sauce evenly over baked crust; top evenly with chicken. arrange vegetable mixture evenly over chicken; sprinkle with cheese. bake 8 addtional minutes or until crust is golden and cheese melts. yields 6 servings.

  • Pita Chicken Wonder
    1 chicken breast
    1 pita pocket - both sides
    lettuce and tomatoes and some slices of bell peppers
    salsa of your choice
    cucumbers and orange slices for garnish

    grill the chicken breast using whatever method you prefer, and then cut it up into smaller pieces. layer the chicken with the veggies and the salsa inside the pita.

    slice up the cucumbers so it makes sticks, and sprinkle some lemon pepper on the pieces. add a few pieces of orange wedges and enjoy a colorful and yummy meal.

    5-8 points, depending on pita sizes and chicken sizes.
