My 6 year Old Daughter

  • Just finished running her first mile. The school does a Mayor's Mile before their big Frostbite4 run for all the kids kindergarten through 6th grade. She said she had to walk a little bit because her side hurt but when she took off she was running and when she came across the finish line she was running. I'm so proud of her. She said her throat hurt a little bit half way through and I totally know what she's talking about. My throat gets super dry when I run too.

I told her next year I'll run with her. It was my first year so I didn't know I could and I wasn't dressed for it.

I am also trying to talk my aunt into doing the Frostbite 4 with me next year. You can do 2 miles or 4. She doesn't run though so I'd have to slow down a bit but at least I'd have someone to do it with me.

And now I'm super stoked that I have something to look forward to!

  • Aw look at those Rosy cheeks

Yay for her! Pft I could never run a mile and cross the finish line running! lol.
  • She is ADORABLE!!

That's great that she was so excited about it! It's so so so great to get kids into fitness young, and even more fun for them if mommy does it with them!
