It's not the end, but it feels like it....

  • I started this week by losing 3 pounds and feeling really good again about dieting. I don't know if I got to comfortable in my dieting shoes, but I ate half a donut and a fish stick. Not together but at different times, lol. I am still staying on focus w/ the diet and not totally giving up. I am starting to get ready for a 5K run at the end of March. So I am banking on walking 3 times a week to help balance the bad bites that I take.

I go weigh in tomorrow morning so I will post my progress tomorrow. Thans again for all the support here,

  • Congratulations on your success this week. Too funny about the 1/2 donut and fish stick comment. You know, I do that too. I think back to days in the week when I crammed something in my pie hole that wasn't supposed to go in. Good for you to do the 5K thing. I run every morning and adore it actually. Welcome, welcome!
  • On the edge
I know how it feels to get comfortable with your weight loss. Just when your doing really really good, you think, well one little deviation won't stop the ketosis process. That's when I learn I am wrong. All you can do is get back on program and start the process again! I actually gained a pound on Wednesday and felt really bad, jumped right back on program and lost 2 today!! Just remember consistency gets you everywhere! Huggers and good luck on your weigh in!!!
  • I find that when the scales drops a couple of pounds I am more apt to take a little bite of something not on plan and then the spiral begins...and last for 2-3 days...

Good for you for not beating yourself up, and for getting back on plan quickly.

Good luck with the weigh in!
  • Try to give yourself something other than food as your rewards. Too many of us are use to going to food. My friend and I have a Valentines Day goal of 6 lbs and if we get them we are going for pedicures..
