Exercise during TOM

  • Hi, Just starting to exercise, this is the end of my first month, I walk 6 days a week, but now my period is here and OWWWCH, I don't wanna!

    Should I just suck it up, or can I skip a day or two?
  • I think it helps with cramps, but that may be just me.
  • Exercise is proven to help with cramping! It's best to just push through it. You will feel better after a little exercise!

  • Seriously, do it. I used to have terrible cramps (which lessened due to regular exercise- yet another benefit), but then I would go on a bike ride and I would feel fantastic. For a while, I would actually do pushups to relieve cramps because it worked way better than painkillers. Give it a try.
