Good vitamins or supplements?

  • I know people that are taking the craziest vitamin combos, and I don't want to take unnecessary pills if not needed. Especially because I'm afraid of it slowing down the process. Anyone have any ideas?
  • I just take the one a day womans, if there is anything good out there please do let me know!
  • okay awesome, my friends are taking those two. i just know nothing about them haha thank you!
  • I take one a day plus iron... just cuz it was around lol. I'd love more info on this also!

I take the same but i skip a whole lot of days .. they are just too big and feel like they are stuck and never go down! lol
  • I take a multipack from costco that I like a lot, with a multi, E, C, B-50 and calcium. A big one that my Dr. told me to add was magnesium it is really important for people on low-calorie diet.
  • I like one a day weight smart
  • I take one-a-day women's each morning, plus a packet of Emergen-C powder mix (which you mix with water....I mix it and then use it to swallow my pills, haha!). The emergen-c powder is vitamin c with some other good vitamins too. I swear by the emergen-c....when I take it regularly, it keeps me from getting sick. And I used to work one-on-one with disabled/developmentally challenged kids, so we were ALWAYS getting sick with whatever colds and stuff they had. Then I started on Emergen-C, one or two packets a day, and it kept me from getting sick....and whenever I ran out of the packets and went without, literally within three days I was sick as a dog. This has happened to me 3 times now, so now I buy more way before I run out. It's good stuff!!
  • I think I would be in the crazy combo category. If I take them all, I'm at 35-40 pills per day...plus a liquid.
  • I just like my chewable chocolate viactive (is that how you spell it? I don't feel like getting up and looking). They have all I need.
  • thanks everyone, its really appreciated! i just want to know what i should start with, because they can get expensive. and im broke haha
  • I think you don't need many pills if you eat healthy, I reckon a multivitamin and calcium is enough, but ask the doc just in case. When I've been feeling really rundown I've had some Floradix herb and iron liquid which seems to give me a bit more oomph
