This may be a stupid question...

  • ...but does anyone know where to find a scale for someone who is 300+? All the scales I've seen at places like bed bath and beyond tend to tap out at 300. I'm new to 3fc as well as to this dieting thing and I realized that obtaining a scale is crucial to this whole diet thing! Haha. Any insight would be helpful. I'm all for ordering stuff online too! Thanks in advanced.

  • Have you looked on Amazon.com? I just looked, and saw a couple that went up to 400 lbs.
  • Maybe try a pharmacy or electronics store. Online you can order them through amazon.com.
  • Actually, I got mine at Walmart. It is very nice(price was nice too). It does weight, fat and water...it might have other features I don't use Before you go spend-y, try Walmart!
  • Thanks! Just found one on Amazon for just over $30. I think that is a decent price for a scale, no? I can honestly say i have never in my life purchased one. ^__^

  • I think that's a fair price. I gave $30 for mine at Wal-Mart, they are Conair Weight Watchers.
  • Good question I just started again and I wonder how accurate my scale is its an old dial one and I think I maybe maxing it out. Are the digital ones the way to go? I hate the thought of going to the store to pick up a new scale.
  • We have a con-air weight watches one too. It is really nice and just as accurate as the scale at the Dr's office.

    GOOD LUCK!
  • I bought mine (rated to 400lbs) online. Cannot remember how long ago and what I paid. I'm in love with it.
  • Walmart, Target, etc...

I got a Weight Watchers scale and the thing is glass, nice and classy looking, and rock solid! I love that thing...especially when it says I weigh less! lol

Mine goes up to 400 pounds if I'm not mistaken. I got it at Target on sale.
  • I just bought one for $27 at Walmart that goes up to 380. Remembers 4 people's weights and tells you how much you have lost since your last weigh in and in the last week and last month. I love it cause its wide and you don't have to try to squeeze your feet together, just stand normal. Check them out...it's where I always buy my scales from. Oh and if you are just barely over 300, there were definitely a few that were even cheaper that went up to like 330 and 350.
