Aquarian, I'm also starting fresh. Like most of us, I'm a "professional dieter" - which I've decided is the problem! This time around, am just trying to learn how NOT to diet. I think it's all about self-care, and respecting yourself enough to care for yourself well (healthy food & exercise).
That being said, yes, some kind of plan is needed. What does that look like? Something healthy, reasonable and sustainable. Calorie counting seems like a good way to go. But I'm still learning.
