I'm new to the site just got here this evening....Jan 1. I don't know exactly where to start but here I am. I'm so looking forward to getting to know people on here and losing this weight! Yay us!!

Welcome, this site is great and has helped me a lot already and I hope it helps you too! There are soo many great and supportive people here! You have to wait 20 days until you can get a weight ticker and a signature. I am counting down the days until I can get one! I love being able to see my progress!

Hey Katie -

Tickers are allowed after 20 days and 20 posts. This is to eliminate some serious issues with spammers and signature links. But stick around and you'll have your ticker in no time!

You may want to check out the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more, or the 300+ club. We also have groups by age range and eating plan, so look around.

Find a spot or many, settle in, and get to posting! Can't wait to get to know you better!

I like to see my progress down on paper too. Thanks for all the suggestions for forums. I will check them out. Looking forward to getting to know some new people and ones that are like minded and getting on track to get rid of this weight in 2009!
