No Christmas lbs allowed in 2009

  • WooHoo! Let's get this new year Rockin!

    I know I have been MIA for a bit...so here is the latest...I went WAYYYYYY off plan over Christmas. I'm not talking an extra serving of mashed potatoes here. It started with the Cosmopolitans and just 1 sugar cookie. Before I knew it it was 3 days later and I was half way through a tub of Chocolate chip cookie dough and trying to cram one more bite into my severly swollen belly!

    The damage was 7.4 lbs. for Christmas. But...as of this morning...I am back down to my pre-binge weight plus an extra .4 lbs went with it! Getting back OP drinking lots of water and excersising did the trick! Who knew? So I am claiming no harm no foul and plunging straight on into the New Year with renewed focus on my goal. I have signed up for 2 challenges to keep me on track.

  • Wow Michelle! All of our weights and goals are similar! Thanks for taking the time to respond.
    My constant for excersise is walking. I do it at least 5x per week. I am lucky to work at a campus of interconnected buildings that makes a perfect 1.5 mile indoor walking track. I usually try to walk it twice a day and incorporate any flights of stairs along the way.
    I also have some workout dvd's that I do occasionally...wish I could be more dedicated to do them every day. I guess I just enjoy the walking more.
    What kind of excersise do you do?

    I've seen your picture the other day and all i can say is that you did fantastic, you look so beautiful and full of joy!
    I still don't have the guts to post any pictures yet ...i'll just wait until i reach my goal !
    See, i still can't picture my new me sometimes...can you?
    As for exercise I do cardio 5x (treadmill) /week and just started weight lifting!
    occasionally i borrow from the library workout dvd's that i do...and like you said i wish i could do them more often!

    I really hope that 2009 will be the year for me, for us, to reach our goals and feel healtier!
