There's a glorious sunrise on this day after Christmas, the eastern sky is looking dayglow orange. What do they say about red sky at morning, though?

We're having a slow wake-up, and then are going across the river to my DD's in NJ for the day. We have a huge 3-story dollhouse for Carley that we have to take over to her. I can't wait to see her reaction, the house is 4' tall, and even has an elevator. She's going to be thrilled, I'm sure!
I think I'll make up a big plate of cookies to take, and the rest of the cream cake, too. Neither one of them are tempting me at all, but I don't want them to go to waste. I already put the rest of the cheesecake in the freezer, so that's out of the way. But we have enough leftovers to see us well into next week!
Jenski, I'm happy your son was so excited with his train! Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures. Christmas and children just go together, enjoy it while they're still little!

We're off to NY so just a quick good morning from here. I'm taking everyone's good advice and getting right back on plan today as much as possible. I've already decided to have 2-3 of my Mom's cookies (1 of each homemade variety!) but can still make everything else on plan. I love the scale's panic - it thinks I gained 5 lbs overnight! Since I ate maybe 400 extra calories yesterday , bad as that is, it seems unlikely!
