Helloooooo ONEderland!

  • I made it to ONEderland! WOOT!
Today was my weigh in day. I weigh in every 9 days because I hate the scale. Why not 10...why not 14? No idea. I the first time I weighed myself after I weighed myself at the start of this journey was 9 days later...so I stuck with it.

    SO....I am down from 240 to 197!
I started in a size 20 plus, I am in a regular 16 usually, although I wore a size 14 to work the other day. I started in a 2X top and now I am in a medium, or petite large (sometimes a large if it is cut small.) I tend to like my clothes a little on the loose side since I do field work and need to be comfortable in a lot of different settings.

I am 7 lbs away from half way there! I guess I look better, but more importantly, I feel better. I set the treadmill on 5.2 - 5.5 and run for 25-30 minutes. I've never been able to do that in my life even when I was 135-140! I do weights 3 days a week (one day arms, one day legs, one day core) and I noticed the other day that I got a brand new set of "guns!" LOL! I'm enjoying my new lifestyle and I think I'll look nice and lean and more importantly...healthy...the closer I get to goal!

I'm so blessed to have found this site and all these awesome chicks that keep me motivated and accountable. Oh...and Cardio Carrot is my new mascot. He could probably take out the Peanut Butter and Jelly Time Banana in a fair fight. Just thought I should mention that. Go Cardio Carrot...shake that thang!
  • Way to Go!
Congratulations! You've worked hard and deserve every bit of your success! Keep up the good work!

  • Excuse me for my ignorance...but what exactly Onderland refers to ? I'd seen this term so many times recently and had been wondering what it is all about.

Nevertheless you've done a great job..and you must be proud of yourself
  • Awesome job!
